Row the Nile
Row Crew Academy is a water sports academy on the Nile in Cairo, Egypt, running since 2019. We teach rowing, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking to complete beginners and national-level athletes out of the same boathouse.
There's no membership and no experience needed. Book a single session, turn up, and a coach takes you from there — most of our members had never been in a boat before their first morning.
We're on the Nile at the Police Rowing Club on Nile Street, directly opposite the Sheraton Cairo Hotel — central enough to reach from anywhere in Cairo or Giza.
Sessions run every day from 6 AM to 5 PM. Boats, boards, paddles and coaching are all included in the price.

Do I need experience to join?
No. Most people who come to us have never rowed, paddled or kayaked before. Every session includes a coach, and beginners are the normal case here rather than the exception.
What water sports do you offer?
Rowing, private one-to-one rowing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and kayaking — all on the Nile, all with equipment included.
