Stand-up paddleboarding
SUP is the easiest way onto the Nile. Most people are standing and moving within the first ten minutes, and there's nothing you need to know beforehand.
Boards and paddles are provided, and the stretch of river we use in Giza is calm and sheltered. You can kneel rather than stand while you find your balance — plenty of people do for the first half hour.
Sessions run every hour from 6 AM to 5 PM and can be booked on the same day at 250 EGP, or in advance at 200 EGP.
We're on the Nile at the Police Rowing Club on Nile Street, directly opposite the Sheraton Cairo Hotel — central enough to reach from anywhere in Cairo or Giza.
Prices
- Standard — 200 EGP
- Same-Day — 250 EGP
Common questions
Is paddleboarding hard for a first-timer?
It's the easiest thing we do. Most people are up and paddling within ten minutes, and you can kneel instead of standing while you find your balance.
Can I book SUP on the day?
Yes. SUP runs every hour from 6 AM to 5 PM and can be booked on the day at the same-day rate.
Is the Nile calm enough to paddle on?
The stretch we use in Giza is sheltered and slow-moving, which is what makes it good for beginners.
