Kayaking on the Nile
Kayaking is the relaxed one. Sit down, push off, and explore the Nile at whatever pace suits you — on your own, or alongside friends who've booked the same slot.
Kayaks and paddles are included, and there's genuinely nothing to learn beforehand. If you can sit down and hold a paddle you can kayak.
It's the cheapest way to get on the water with us: 150 EGP booked in advance, or 200 EGP on the day. Sessions run every hour from 6 AM to 5 PM.
Early morning is the quietest time on the river, and late afternoon gives you the light coming off the water on the way back in.
We're on the Nile at the Police Rowing Club on Nile Street, directly opposite the Sheraton Cairo Hotel — central enough to reach from anywhere in Cairo or Giza.
Prices
- Standard — 150 EGP
- Same-Day — 200 EGP
Common questions
Do I need kayaking experience?
None at all. Kayaking is the most straightforward thing we run — you'll be moving within a minute or two of getting in.
Can I kayak with a friend?
Yes. Everyone books their own spot in the same time slot, so you get your own confirmation and you're out on the water together.
Can I book kayaking the same day?
Yes, at the same-day rate. Sessions run every hour from 6 AM to 5 PM.
